Sellers Don't Limit Your Options!

I don't know how many times I've told sellers A Lot 2 Offer was not started by a private party seller but by a private party buyer. As a seller, you may feel comfortable with your skills of judging people and don't mind meeting in a public place or having strangers come to your homes. But, how many opportunities are you missing out on? Not all buyers are willing to meet at your residence. A Lot 2 Offer was started exactly for this reason - OPTIONS for private party sellers and buyers to have access to resources to perform their own transactions like a dealer without the costs of a dealership and without the risks associated with conducting business on the street.

Increase your selling options by displaying your vehicle at our secure and neutral location, where buyers feel safe and will preview at their leisure. Our resource center provides your potential buyers a neutral area to inspect your vehicle along with an area to negotiate the price with you. Buyers and Sellers, you can verify the history report, have a certified mechanic check the vehicle out, process the title and bill of sale; our notary can witness the documents along with make copies for your records. All this and more, conveniently provided by A Lot 2 Offer.

Looks like a duck....

Okay, if it looks like a DUCK, sounds like a DUCK, walks like a DUCK...it must be a DUCK! We've been approached by several 'used' dealers who love our concept and want to capitalize on the 'new' niche'. We can either work with them or against them! How ironic is this? Put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig. We knew people would realize the concept is working and try and 'copy' the concept. But the difference, A Lot 2 Offer was started by consumers for consumers. We don't have that Con Artist mentality trying to run a scam on consumers....the 'used' dealers approaching us will find a way to screw the system and they will find someone to work with them....it won't be A Lot 2 Offer! So, it looks like we'll have to continue identifying the DUCKS and make sure we stay true to our vision of assisting consumers with eliminating fraud and endangerment!

Oh, so familiar....

If we had a dollar for every seller who shares with us they know how to handle themselves and don't fear for their safety when they are showing their vehicle at their residence, we would be extremely profitable! What the sellers don't understand is that they are limiting their opportunities because not every buyer feels the same way. This business was started by a Buyer, and the fact I set up an appointment to preview a sellers vehicle at their residence, and once I arrived at their residence I couldn't get myself to stop and I kept going. This was a missed opportunity for that seller. How many are you missing out on? So, next time you have a potential buyer do a no show, you know why.

July Hot At A Lot 2 Offer

The month of July has not only been typical Arizona hot outside, but “hot” here at A Lot 2 Offer. We have had a number of satisfied private party sellers as well as buyers use our Resource Center as their medium of choice while conducting business in regards to their vehicle transactions.

Our convenient facility, the amenities we offer, and the service we have so diligently worked at making available to the consumer are up and rolling in full force. We, as a company, assumed July would be a mediocre month, based on non-direct industry precedent, for what we offer, and to our surprised yet humble cynicism; it has been quite the contrary.

Our name is being recognized, and the “unique” avenue we have created, is being welcomed, understood, and discovered by the general public and at an exponentially increasing rate. We have to attribute this to you- the consumer, who is grasping the concept, doing your homework, and realizing the dangers that lurk in today’s society with some of the other options out there to buy/sell private party vehicles.

We have revamped our pricing and features with the sole purpose of creating even more ease for the consumer than we already had established. We have added a number of added amenities to our list, again, to assist in the “no headache” “no hassle” manner of completing a transaction of this magnitude in a one-stop-shop fashion.

I would personally like to thank everyone, not officially associated with A Lot 2 Offer, that have been bringing our concept up in discussions both privately and publicly. I have to also contribute a portion of July’s success to you. You are not only giving us great word-of-mouth recognition, but the self-reassurance that people value what we are doing.

Dually appreciated and noted, Pacer K Moe - General Manager

The Nations Biggest Used Car Scam

What is the nations biggest used car scam? Stolen vehicles that have their Vehicle Identification Numbers removed and replaced with Stolen Vehicle Identification Numbers. The title is transfered a number of times in different states and by the time Law Enforcement locate the stolen vehicle, there is a new victim; the consumer who unknowingly purchased the stolen vehicle. As you watch police confiscate the vehicle, you have no rights, you are in possession of a stolen vehicle and by the way, most insurance company's don't insure "stolen" vehicles, so don't count on a big check to reimburse you for your losses. Would you know by looking at your Vehicle Identification Number if you are in possession of a stolen vehicle? Or, do you know of anyone who has been a victim of this scam?

Unless you've been under a Rock..Craigslist doesn't make it safe!

Craigslist is giving every Privare Party Vehicle Seller and Buyer a good reason to utilize our Vehicle Resource Center. A safe, secure and neutral location for consumers to conduct their vehicle transaction. It makes you wonder why Craigslist flagged our company? Could they be trying to make it difficult for us to post our service on Craigslist. Could we be the future? According to "our" satisfied customers, YES!!!

Craigslist Attack

It's ironic that another Craigslist attack happened over the weekend! Craigslist has been flagging our company because they don't think we could possibly be a legitimate company trying to eliminate consumer fraud and endangerment! We are not a dealership, we don't buy or sell vehicles. We offer a secure, safe and neutral location for consumers who want to conduct their own vehicle transaction. Why is this so hard for Craigslist to understand? When they were harassing us for offering our service, we told them we want to help thier customers, the general public. It's amazing how skeptical people are, this concept is so unique that we need your help to get the word out! It's working, people are selling their vehicles and buyers are purchasing vehicles in a safe and secure manner. Check the link out regarding the latest attack and I ask you if our company is needed? http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/?rn=4226712&cl=14185998&src=news

Private Vehicle Sellers

Private Party Vehicle Sellers are averaging 16 days on display lot prior to selling their vehicles. This is taking into consideration a 2007 Expedition, which during these stressful times hasn't been in high demand. A Lot 2 Offer also had a customer list their vehicle and sold it within 12 hours of displaying it on the lot. The Buyer stated he would never have purchased the vehicle if it wasn't displayed on the Lot, he doesn't like Craigslist or Autotrader.

A Lot 2 Say

I don't know of anyone who hasn't had a bad experience purchasing or selling a vehicle. I'm not saying their isn't any, but I personally don't know of any. The Vehicle Resource Center was conceived as a result of my personal experiences and hundreds of testimonials from consumers who were fed up with the lack of options to conduct their vehicle transactions. A Lot 2 Offer's concept is here to stay! Consumers are utilizing our facility as it was intended and we will continue to promote the concept until every consumer understands there is a new way to conduct their transactions and that they do have an option.

I encourage you to post your experiences and help other consumers avoid falling victim to fraud and endangerment.

CONSUMER SAFETY PROMPTS NEW COMPANY OPENING
A Lot 2 Offer - a facility on Scottsdale's Motor Mile provides safe haven for buyers and sellers of used vehicles to complete their transactions

Phoenix (May 4, 2009) - On April 4, 2009, new company, A Lot 2 Offer responded to consumer's plea for safety by opening its doors. The current economy is forcing the increase of people to downsize or eliminate their privately owned vehicles. As more individuals buy and sell the more fraud and endangerment increase. A Lot 2 Offer located near Loops 101 & 202 gives consumers a safe and economical way to sell smart and buy safe.

The new concept vehicle Resource Center provides a safe haven for both buyers and sellers of privately owned vehicles. The owners tout they are not car people, they are 'people' people. "We understand that it's not safe anymore to go to a stranger's house and look at their car, or have a stranger come to yours. Our Resource Center is a neutral place for them to go," stated General Manager, Pacer Moe. Buyers and sellers meet, negotiate and complete their transaction right at the facility.

A Lot 2 Offer is located on Scottsdale's Motor Mile on McDowell & Miller Roads, where numerous car dealerships do business. Company Vice President, Deanna Fero said "People are tired of this economy and they need some relief. By selling and buying pre-owned vehicles consumers can pocket more money for themselves. Sure, they can do that anywhere but it can be dangerous. We want our customers to feel safe and at ease. We think we've created that type of environment for them."

The company is planning a Grand Opening event at the end of the month. Friday, May 29th at 4:00pm there will be a Ribbon Cutting and Saturday, May 30th will be their big celebration from 10:00am - 4:00pm. A Lot 2 Offer will sponsor Against All Odds, founded by former Diamondback player, Shea Hillenbrand. Hillenbrand will be at the May 30th event.

Dealers running scared

Have you heard? We (A Lot 2 Offer) are trying to help consumers by providing a safe and neutral location for you to buy and sell used cars and the DOT, part of the MVD temporarily shut us down. Why? Because they were getting complaints from Dealers. Can you believe it? We're trying to do the right thing for the public and because the MVD doesn't know how to classify us, they shut us down. We opened our doors on April 4th and April 17th they temporarily closed them. That tells us that we're doing something right and some people are scared.
