Dealers running scared

Have you heard? We (A Lot 2 Offer) are trying to help consumers by providing a safe and neutral location for you to buy and sell used cars and the DOT, part of the MVD temporarily shut us down. Why? Because they were getting complaints from Dealers. Can you believe it? We're trying to do the right thing for the public and because the MVD doesn't know how to classify us, they shut us down. We opened our doors on April 4th and April 17th they temporarily closed them. That tells us that we're doing something right and some people are scared.

This is unbelievable. I've been thinking about selling my car for about month. I came across the ads for A Lot to Offer and I thought it was a great idea. This seems like a perfect medium to sells cars where a buyer can go down and take a look without any pressure or inconvenience. I was looking forward to getting the ball rolling on selling my car, until I found that All Lot to Offer was put on "hold" by the DMV.

I can't believe that car dealers are that threatened by private auto sales. Unfortunately, we're not all the market for a new car and having a safe place to sell an unneeded car would really be handy. The dealers on Motor Mile (I'm guessing it them) need to grow-up. I would love to know which dealers are protesting/complaining about A Lot 2 Offer. I'd be great to avoid them next time I'm looking for a car. What a disappointment...

When it comes down to it, I don't think that dealers/DOT really have a case. Hopefully, A Lot 2 Offer can wait out this stand-off without taking a lethal financial or legal blow.

  2. A safe location to meet sellers is a fantastic idea. Consumers are in need of an alternative and that's exactly what A Lot 2 Offer is doing. Making people aware of the danger and doing something about it. Hang in there!
