The Nations Biggest Used Car Scam
What is the nations biggest used car scam? Stolen vehicles that have their Vehicle Identification Numbers removed and replaced with Stolen Vehicle Identification Numbers. The title is transfered a number of times in different states and by the time Law Enforcement locate the stolen vehicle, there is a new victim; the consumer who unknowingly purchased the stolen vehicle. As you watch police confiscate the vehicle, you have no rights, you are in possession of a stolen vehicle and by the way, most insurance company's don't insure "stolen" vehicles, so don't count on a big check to reimburse you for your losses. Would you know by looking at your Vehicle Identification Number if you are in possession of a stolen vehicle? Or, do you know of anyone who has been a victim of this scam?

This is scary, how do I know if the used vehicle I purchased is stolen? I hear of used scams all the time but don't know of anyone who has actually been a victim. If I would have have known about your business prior to buying my vehicle, I would have used you. Do you allow buyers to bring other sellers to your building? Or do we have to only use your sellers?
